The Asian American Cultural Association of Cincinnati (AACAC) and Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber (CUSARC) invite you to join us as a Food Vendor on April 29-30, 2023 for the 12th annual Asian Food Fest (AFF) of Cincinnati! Our goal at AFF is to promote cultural awareness by exhibiting the eclectic, authentic Asian cuisine and traditional arts in the Cincinnati region. As a food vendor, you have the opportunity to present your culture’s divine dishes, delightful drinks and delectable desserts.

Eligibility Requirements

All Asian restaurants and entities open to the public.

Vendor Booth Kit Fee: $1,000


  • 10 x 20 ft tent with lighting
  • Two 8 ft tables and two chairs
  • Access to one 20A duplex electrical outlet and potable water
  • Grease and trash removal (must bring your own trash bags)
  • Marketing and advertising

Vendors are responsible for their own trash bags, health permit, and general operating costs (i.e. labor, equipment rental, propane, etc.)

Rules and Regulations

  • Attend a mandatory vendor meeting held in Spring 2023 where we will discuss compliance, best practices, and more.
  • Sell only approved specialty beverages (i.e. Bubble Tea, Fresh Soybean Milk, Thai Coffee etc.) and food items. The sale of water, soda, juice drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks, or alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
  • Altering submitted menu items after menu approval is prohibited.
  • Offering free samples to generate sales is prohibited.
  • Maintain the highest degree of cleanliness and professionalism within booths and on event grounds.
  • Vendors must have a valid Health Permit filed with the Cincinnati Health Department.
  • Vendors must have a valid Fire Permit filed with the Cincinnati Fire Department.
  • Vendors must pass Health and Fire safety inspections.

Vendor Agreement By submitting your application, you agree to the following expectations if you are selected as a vendor:

  • Sustain booth operations during the entirety of the event, produce at a high volume, and withstand production in an outdoor environment.
  • Supply equipment to cook, store, and serve your selected menu items.
  • Supply the necessary labor to staff your booth for the event.
  • Comply with the scheduled set-up and tear-down timelines.

Food/Menu Item Requirements

  • A maximum of 4 menu items served per booth.
  • Food portion must not exceed 5 oz.
  • Menu pricing: One item must be under $5.
  • No single item can exceed $10.
  • Menu items must be consistent with the products served at your establishment.
  • Menu items must be available throughout the weekend.

Application Process

  • Complete and submit the online application by February 17, 2023.
  • Certificate of Insurance (Food Vendors only) – a certificate of insurance must be submitted with your application naming the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber as additional insured. Minimum liability amounts are $1,000,000 per occurrence combined single limit general liability insurance. Dates are April 29-30, 2023.   • Applicants will be selected at the sole discretion of the AFF Committee according to the criteria above and will be notified via email within 3 weeks of application deadline.
  • Accepted applicants will be directed to fill out booth kit information and submit payment.
  • Accepted applicants must sign and adhere to all regulations listed in the Restaurant
  • Compliance Agreement provided by Asian Food Fest.

Vendor Selection Considerations

  • Asian Food Fest Vendors are selected based on the following considerations:
  • Food authenticity, variety, and uniqueness
  • Food quality
  • Proximity of establishment to Cincinnati
  • Positive relationship with community, AFF, and Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber

Damage Deposit

All accepted vendors will be required to include a credit card number to have on file for any damage to the booth/space on the event site. If accepted, you will provide your credit card information when you complete the booth specification sheet.
